Millipedes: Two 5-quart tubs, or one 16-quart tub.
Isopods: Three 5-quart tubs, or two 16-quart. tub.

For Millipedes: Moisten, but not saturated. Fill the enclosure with Vivarium Naturals Bio-Thrive Substrate as deep as your millipede is long. Replace when substrate becomes uniform (resembling garden soil) or eaten substrate (appears as small balls) makes up more than half the substrate. Add some Vivarium Naturals Rotten Hardwood to the surface along with Vivarium Naturals Hardwood Leaves.
For Isopods: Moisten with distilled or spring water, and pack down a 2-3" thick layer of Vivarium Naturals Bio-Thrive Substrate in your isopod enclosure. Add water as needed to the bottom layer, do this by spraying the sides and let the water go down into the bottom layer. Crushed hardwood leaves on the surface along with our Vivarium Naturals Aged Oak Bark Chunks.
