You will receive 2 fragments (Thallus) to strategically place in your terrarium and it will spread. This is a temperate liverwort, it doesn't like temperatures above 90F 

Propagated in terrarium conditions. Will spread on wood, rock, and soil and thrive. A truly amazing addition for that naturally elegant  appeal. High humidity is essential. Always use distilled or spring water.

Also known as the Great Scented Liverwort is commonly found in moist, shaded areas such as stream banks, damp soil, and rock surfaces. Here’s how to care for and maintain it:

1. Light Requirements

• Prefers low to medium indirect light.
• Avoid direct sunlight as it can dry out and damage the delicate thallus.
• Fluorescent or LED grow lights can be used if natural light is insufficient.

2. Moisture and Humidity

• Requires consistently high humidity (above 70%).
• Keep the substrate moist but not waterlogged.
• If grown in a terrarium, mist occasionally to maintain humidity.

3. Watering

• Use distilled, rainwater, or dechlorinated tap water to prevent mineral buildup.
• Keep the growing medium damp at all times.

5. Substrate

• Grows well on moist soil, wood, or rock surfaces.

7. Propagation

• Spreads via fragmentation—small pieces of the thallus can grow into new plants under suitable conditions.
• Simply place a small section in a moist environment, and it will establish itself.
