Native to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh regions of mid-eastern India, these beautiful invertebrates are a stunning display animal. Comes with a 8 qt bag of the perfect substrate for their care and feeding. A hand crafted substrate of dried hardwood leaves (top layer) and a bottom layer. Every other week just spray one corner with distilled or spring water. They like a dry environment. We use yellow squash as a treat once a week.
Nymphs bury themselves in the substrate and are only seen on the surface when feeding on veggies like yellow squash until they emerge as winged adults.
