Low growing, this amazing liverwort slowly spreads over wood or soil. This beautiful liverwort can handle constant wet conditions, or just high humidity. Grows on wood, or soil. The color is lighter on wood than soil. Loves low light, grows very tight and stubby in too much light, looks awesome when kept in lower lighting or dappled terrarium/vivarium light. Place in dappled light near another plant and let it spread. This species was collected in Hawaii on the island of Maui. Very rewarding plant in terrariums, mossariums, or vivariums. Grows slow, about .50" in all directions per month. Great addition to any terrarium/vivarium.
