Imported Avatar Millipedes (Salpidobolus sp.) are remarkable Indonesian giants known for their dramatic colors and unmistakable appearance. Their glossy black bodies are marked with contrasting orange or yellow triangular patterns, while their red-and-yellow legs and bright yellow antennae produce an almost unreal combination of colors.

Behavior and Handling

• Occasional yellow squash or other firm, low-sugar vegetables

• Small amounts of species-appropriate supplemental food

Remove uneaten fresh food before it molds or attracts unwanted pests. Avoid excessive fruit and watery foods that can spoil quickly or disrupt the enclosure.
